These policies are reviewed by the Management Committee on a regular basis to ensure that staff and contractors provide the most effective and efficient service possible which meets the needs and wishes of our residents.

  •   Abandonment Policy and Procedure

    This Policy and associated guidance provides all officers with clear and consistent procedures to be used when dealing with suspected abandoned properties. These present a great practical problem for any landlord. An abandoned property represents lost revenue, continuing maintenance costs, a risk of vandalism and potentially an opportunity to house someone else on the waiting list in housing need.

  •   Asbestos Management Policy

    Asbestos is the largest single cause of work-related fatal disease and ill health in Great Britain. It is a carcinogen and is responsible for lung diseases such as Asbestosis and Mesothelioma. Almost all asbestos-related deaths and ill health are a result of exposure that happened decades ago.
