Did you know Molendinar Park Housing Association has a specially designed sheltered housing complex called Drakemire? With 29 flats—including both one and two-bedroom options. The flats are located on the ground and first floors, all easily accessible for our tenants with varying mobility needs.
At Drakemire, the focus is on supporting your independence, with a light touch service provided by our resident Warden and all flats are linked to an emergency Careline system which enables emergency help to be summoned if a tenant requires assistance.
We also enjoy a warm, lively community atmosphere, with regular activities held in the common room for tenants to meet, chat, and socialise.
The Warden Service is intended only to support and encourage the independence of tenants and does not provide the extra care which would be provided in Very Sheltered Housing or a Residential Care Home.
The complex is ideally located in Castlemilk, close to Croftfoot roundabout, and within walking distance of local shops and amenities. There are excellent bus links to the City Centre and East Kilbride, making it easy to get around and stay connected.
