Dalmarnock

Dalmarnock lies between the River Clyde to the south and east and Parkhead to the north. It is less than 3 miles from Glasgow City Centre.

The area has a local train station with a service frequency of four trains per hour westbound & eastbound to Glasgow - with a five minute journey time to the city centre - and Motherwell, Hamilton and beyond. There are also many regular bus services taking you to local shopping areas in Rutherglen, Parkhead and the city centre.

There are several schools within the Dalmarnock catchment area including Dalmarnock Primary School, Sacred Heart Primary School and St Anne’s Primary. St Mungo’s Academy is also located nearby.

Dalmarnock is one mile away from the Parkhead Forge shopping centre where there is also a multiplex cinema.

Dalmarnock was one of the venues for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. This brought three major projects into the neighbourhood – the Athletes Village, the National Indoor Arena and the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome and the East End Regeneration Route.

The Association has completed a large scale  window replacement programme in Dalmarnock and is committed to further investment to ensure we continue to meet our obligations in relation to the Scottish Housing Quality Standards (SHQS)
